Kiran was born in Mysore, city of palaces and brought up in Tumkur and graduated from JSS medical college, Mysore in 1996. He was trained in psychiatry at NIMHANS (Bangalore) and then worked in various hospitals in the UK and Australia as physician trainee before became a general practitioner. He also holds post-graduation qualification in diabetes from Cardiff University and has a special interest in complicated medical issues and diabetes management.

Kiran has great passion to general practice and vocal of general practice should be treated at par with any specialties. He brings more than 18 years of healthcare experience to the company and holds different positions in various organizations as below.

1. CEO of GP West group of medical centers.
2. Board member of RACGP (WA Faculty).
3. Panel member of AHPRA. (2015 to 2019)
4. Mentor for international medical graduates.
5. Co-director of PK dental group of dental centers.
6. Co-director of the NiA pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Bhaskar Mandal is a Consultant Physician & Geriatrician, currently leading the Department of Geriatric Medicine and the Centre of Clinical Excellence in Aging at FSFHG in Western Australia. His extensive experience spans three continents, starting with his medical training at JIPMER, Pondicherry, India. He later completed dual CCT training in General and Geriatric Medicine at Oxford NHS Trust, UK, with a focus on Stroke Medicine.

Dr. Mandal has held pivotal roles, including Head of Geriatric Medicine at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospital NHS Trust, UK, and leading the Surrey County Stroke Network. Since moving to Western Australia in 2013, he has established the first state-wide Acute Geriatric service, which laid the foundation for the Centre of Clinical Excellence in Aging.

In addition to clinical work, Dr. Mandal is passionate about developing innovative services for the elderly and training future geriatricians, as evidenced by his role as Adjunct Clinical Professor at Curtin University. He is also a key advisor for various government committees in Australia.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Mandal enjoys hiking, golfing, and traveling, having visited over 40 countries. He also loves spending time with his geriatric rescue dog, Maisie.

Dr Sree Krishna is a general practitioner with special interest in occupational health. He obtained his undergraduate and post Graduate medical training from Kurnool Medical College and Government General Hospital, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. He migrated to Australia in 2004 and worked in a rural place, Kambalda for about 9 years before moving to perth.

He works as a full time general practitioner and Director of Health Watch Clinics medical group. He likes travelling, going on hikes and participating in community service and fund raising activities. He has been associated with Australian Indian Medical association WA since few years and held the post of treasurer from 2020-2022.

I graduated from Karnataka with a Primary Medical degree and completed further training in the United Kingdom. I have devoted a great deal of time to healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and improving direct healthcare delivery in the Indian subcontinent.

I arrived in Australia on a two-year sabbatical and stayed back here serving the community.

For my family, I am "an alien in transit on a fun (d) raising mission" to ship them into space.

Dr Vinay is a General Practitioner working North of the River after attaining his fellowship from RACGP in 2018. He is originally from Punjab and completed his medical training from Government Medical College in Amritsar.

He worked in India for few years before moving to Perth in 2011 . He worked as a Medical Registrar across various tertiary hospitals in Perth before deciding to pursue a career in general practice. Outside of medicine, Vinay has a keen passion for badminton and Cricket. He plays at a competitive level and has won a variety of tournaments in this field

Dr. Anand Trivedi is a highly skilled General and Acute Care Surgeon serving at Fiona Stanley, Rockingham General, and St. John of God Hospitals in Western Australia. He also runs a private practice at Western General Surgery. His clinical expertise includes emergency surgeries, trauma care, complex abdominal wall hernias, and perioperative nutrition for high-risk surgical patients.

Anand is a Clinical Adjunct and Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, where he plays a key role in surgical education and training. He has been recognized with the "Excellence in Surgical Teaching" award for his dedication to mentoring medical students and junior doctors. His contributions extend to supervising training programs and shaping the future of surgical education at the Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC).

Originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Anand completed his medical degree and surgical training at B.J. Medical College and served as a consultant surgeon and Assistant Professor of Surgery before moving to Perth in 2007. He holds a Fellowship in General Surgery from the Australasian College of Surgeons and has undergone extensive post-fellowship training in Perth.

Anand is also passionate about sustainability in surgery, serving as a member of the Green Theatre Group and a sustainability officer for the College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is an accredited surgical endoscopist with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, contributing to innovations in surgical education and practice.

He underwent Paediatric and Neonatal training in India and Australia. He completed his paediatric training from Pune (M.S) and did neonatal fellowship training in Princess Margaret Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital (Perth).

Apart from his clinical commitment, he has half time appointment as Director of Neonatal education in KEMHW. He got special interest in neonatal education and improving training. He enjoys playing badminton. Rekha enjoys music and dance and has participated in various dance performances .

Committee MemberDr. Leena Singla is a General Practitioner working at Sorrento Medical Centre. She began her medical journey in Amritsar, earning her MBBS from the city of Golden temple, followed by a fellowship in General Practice in Australia.

Leena was born in the vibrant city of Patiala in Punjab. She always loved participating in and organising school events. This continued during her time in medical college in Amritsar.

In 2008, She started her Aussie life in New South Wales, followed by short time in South Australia and Queensland, before settling in Western Australia in 2013. For eight years, she called Bunbury home, where she deeply connected with the local community and was a committee member of Bunbury Multicultural Society for many years. She moved to Perth in 2022.

Her professional life is complemented by a dynamic personal life. Her passion for creativity finds expression in dance, painting, and Hindi theatre, where she has captivated audiences in Perth with her performances. She shares a fulfilling life with her husband, Dr. Lokesh Garg, who is a Physician, and their two children, Bhuvika and Keshav.

Alongside these interests, Leena enjoys cooking, running, traveling, and always seeking new experiences with her family. She finds peace and inspiration in nature, through things like mountain climbing and watching beautiful sunsets.

She loves bringing people together through social events, fostering connections, and changing strangers into her close friends. As a member of the AIMA committee, Leena is excited to channel her passions and skills into furthering values and vision of AIMA.
