Mr Mayank Bhandari is a Consultant Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and Transplant Surgeon. He is the Head of Renal Transplant Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Mr Bhandari completed his training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Since then he has contributed extensively in the management of liver and pancreatic diseases. Mr Bhandari was awarded PhD in Pancreatology by Flinders University, Adelaide. After General Surgical Fellowship, he was selected for prestigious Paul McMaster’s Fellowship for advanced training in Liver and Pancreatic surgery at the world-renowned Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK.

Dr Kamlesh Bhatt (MBBS, FRACGP, DCH, DRANZCOG) completed his medical school in Gujarat, India and moved to Australia in 2000. He studied Occupational Medicine in Mumbai and went onto complete a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Child Health in Perth. He currently works at the busy, seaside practice of Scarborough Beach Medical Centre.
He enjoys the variety and family links developed through general practice and is passionate about providing the best care for the wellbeing of his patients.

Prof Krishna Boddu is a senior consultant in the Department of Anaesthesia & Pain Medicine at Royal Perth Hospital, Perth, Australia, Director of Regional Anaesthesia, adjunct Professor at Curtin Medical School, Perth, Australia
Professor Boddu’s special clinical interest is chronic pain. In particular, “Myofascial Pain Syndromes”, nerve entrapments and to identify the root cause of pain and address the root cause without masking the pain with opioids and atypical opioids.
University of Washington, Seattle awarded him Golden Apple Seed award for Excellence in Teaching. He received formal training as a Teaching Scholar at the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education at University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
As a Prof of Anesthesiology & Head of Acute Pain & Regional Anesthesia, introduced acute pain service with a goal to improve functionality at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Houston. Prof Boddu also worked as Director of Acute Pain and Regional Anesthesia at MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), Houston and established the Regional Anesthesia Service and enhanced Acute Pain Service which received national and international recognition.
Prof Boddu developed multi-screen, multi-media hands on regional anesthesia workshop which was received very well by anesthesiologists and soon it became the most popular regional anesthesia workshop. He also introduced the concept of Acute Pain Nurse Expertise at Point of Care by developing Path to Pain Championship program, and trained several hundred nurses. He conducted several pain and regional anaesthesia workshops across the world. He also published original articles in the field of regional anesthesia and acute pain.
In Australia, he introduced regional anaesthesia and acute pain workshops for rural doctors in collaboration with Rural Health West.
Prof Boddu has lectured extensively and taught numerous advanced regional anesthesia and acute pain management courses to residents and faculty, locally, nationally and internationally. Prof Boddu has contributed significantly to clinical care, education, research and administration.
Gayatri was born and brought up in Hyderabad and migrated to Australia in 2007 .
Gayatri completed her MBBS in 1999 from Osmania Medical college and then obtained her Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from NTR University of Health Sciences India in 2002 with two gold medals for obtaining the highest marks in the University and State. In 2003, she went on to obtain the Diplomate of National Board of Examinations (OBGYN) from New Delhi, India. After migrating to Australia in 2006, she obtained her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from RANZCOG in 2010.
She completed her Masters in Reproductive medicine from University of New South Wales in 2014.
Gayatri offers comprehensive care for all types of female and male infertility including IVF, ICSI and surgical sperm retrieval. She has a special interest in minimal invasive surgery and has received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery culminating in Level 5 laparoscopy skills and offers a range of complex hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.

After completing her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology from Kings College Hospital London, Arpita moved to Perth with her family in 2017 with her 2 kids Aishani & Aayush, and husband Amit, who is currently working as a Paediatric Gastroenterology Consultant at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
Arpita is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at St John of God Midland Hospital; also works privately with “One for Women” in Midland where she brings extensive experience in all aspects of ambulatory and operative gynaecology including minimal access surgeries. In 2011 she won a travelling fellowship to work at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town which kindled her long-term vision of contributing towards women’s’ global health innovations and improving outcomes in high risk pregnancies. She is committed to making a difference in women’s health and wellbeing, not only with clinical expertise but also empowering patients through individualised multidisciplinary care and advocacy.
She also has postgraduate degree in medical education, and passionate about teaching. Apart from her busy career, Arpita is also an accomplished singer and trained Kathak dancer (Khairaghar Gharana), hailing from a family with a rich cultural background. Over the years she has rendered several acclaimed stage performances in India, UK and Australia, including being the lead dancer at RCOG London events. Chinar is Head of Psychiatry and a Consultant Youth Psychiatrist at Fiona Stanley Hospital. As a Youth Psychiatrist, she specialises in 16-24yr olds presenting with mental health problems along with continuing to manage adult Psychiatry patients.
She has developed and led Youth mental heath service at Fiona Stanley Hospital since coming to Perth in 2016. She is also undertaking research in this area. Prior to that she was a Consultant Psychiatrist and Deputy Medical Director in UK since completing her higher training in General Adult Psychiatry in 2011.
She has been a Gold Medallist from her Medical College in India, has published a few papers and her Youth mental health service at Fiona Stanley Hospital has won awards and accolades along with recognition in our local newspapers.
Besides Psychiatry, she loves giving her time in organising community events to bring the community together. she loves experimenting in kitchen in her free time.

Dr Karande completed his medical graduation from India. He also obtained postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics from India before moving to Australia in 2010. In Australia, Dr Karande has trained in Paediatrics, Neonatology and Developmental Paediatrics at various institutes including Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania and Princess Margaret Hospital (now Perth Children’s Hospital) in Perth, Western Australia. He has worked at several other institutes in Western Australia in the public and private sector including Joondalup Health Campus, Fiona Stanley Hospital. Dr Karande has worked in various Child Development Centres in Western Australia including Joondalup, Lockridge and Midland. Dr Karande currently works as a Paediatrician at St John Of God, Mount Lawley and Osborne Park Hospital. He does assessments at Autism Association Western Australia. Dr Khialani is an Interventional Cardiologist and Perioperative Physician with interests in all aspects of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. He is passionate about ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, percutaneous coronary intervention and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), as well as the optimisation of patients through cardiac and non-cardiac surgery.
Bharat graduated with a Bachelor of BioMedical Science and MBBS with Deans Commendation for high achievement. During his junior doctor years, Bharat also attained a Masters of Public Health (MPH) and a Master of Medicine (MMed). He trained in Cardiology in Melbourne at Geelong, Monash and The Alfred Hospitals, and was conferred Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2018.
He then undertook an overseas fellowship at the prestigious Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge UK, the largest specialist Cardiothoracic hospital and the main heart and lung transplant centre in England. Here, he trained with world leaders in the field and developed skills in interventional cardiology. He has also been actively involved in Cardiovascular research, presenting at both local and international conferences.

Dr Darshan Kothari is an established Paediatric & Fetal Cardiologist in Perth with 20 years experience consulting in both the public and private sector. He holds public appointments at Perth Children’s Hospital for Children and is the Director of Fetal Cardiology in Western Australia at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Subiaco.

Dr Alpana Kulkarni is a Senior Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatrician at WA Child and Adolescent Health Service; which includes Perth Children’s Hospital and Child Development Centres.
She is a founder and director of “Wexford Kids”, where comprehensive care is provided to children in PRIVATE settings, located at Wexford Medical Centre at St John Of God Health Care in Murdoch.
Dr Kulkarni is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, and also appointed as Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Western Australia. Dr Harpreet Singh was born and raised in the holy city of the Golden Temple, Amritsar, Punjab. He followed his family tradition to become 3rd generation of doctor after his father and grandfather.
Harpreet trained as an ENT Surgeon from Government medical college, Amritsar India in 1992.
He served briefly as an ENT specialist at Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania before moving to Perth in 2007 as a General Practitioner, with special interest in Otolaryngology and Skin Cancer surgery. He has served as a Director of Canning Division of General Practice, and a board member of Royal College of General Practitioner WA. He is a keen academician with various publications in national journals and online websites such as Medscape.
Harpreet is also involved in the teaching international medical graduates and is an examiner for RACGP fellowship examinations. He also teaches medical students from Notre Dame Medical School and is designated adjunct Senior Lecturer at Curtin Medical School, WA.
